“Hard worker” doesn’t begin to describe Don. He knows the territory, and he knows real estate. We chose him because we were impressed with the diligence and tireless effort he delivered when our daughter and son-in-law were looking for a home.
Importantly, he listened closely to our desires, preferences, and concerns, and effectively adjusted his search criteria to make our search more efficient. He also anticipated financial issues and offered excellent advice when it came to funding the purchase.
When we finally chose a home, trouble arose during the pre-close final walkthrough: we discovered a defect which, by all appearances, had been deliberately concealed by the sellers. We were of course horrified and furious, and nearly walked away from what otherwise would have been the perfect house for us. After calming us down and wiping our tears off his shoulder, he negotiated a fair remedy with the sellers. And we got the house we wanted.
Working with Don was a pleasure, to say the least. From day 1 Don definitely showed his knowledge and expertise in the area. Don showed his patience and took the time to understand what we knew and wanted before beginning the process as first time buyers. He was always available to answer any question we had and address any concern. He was patient enough to understand us searching in various counties and always researched the area to show us various options. When we finally found our home Don did everything possible to make sure it was known how interested we were in the property. It seemed nearly impossible as offers were competitive, but Don maintained great communication with the sellers’ agent and us to ease the process. When we got the great news I was in disbelief but very thankful for all of Don’s help. Towards closing Don still continued to showed his support all the way through. Don definitely acts in the best interest of his clients and genuinely roots for their success. Honestly, could not have found a better agent to help us with this process.
