Karen Ko is a knowledgeable real estate pro! My home selling process went smoothly and Karen wasted no time at all. There are too many good words I could say about Karen, but here are a few quick highlights:
1. Effective and Responsive Communicator – I normally receive her responses within 5 minutes via my preferred communication channel, text message. Her responses are short & sweet and right to the point. None of my questions was left without clear answers.
2. Active Listener – Karen listens carefully and meets or exceeds my needs. In my initial meeting, I briefly mentioned that I’d like to prioritize investor buyers since the property was tenant occupied. I didn’t need to repeat myself even once, and a group of investors were invited on the first day of the listing.
3. Knowledgeable Pro – At the minute Karen started talking in our initial meeting, I can tell she knows what she does well. She setup my expectations on property selling price range and final closing date estimation. Karen also showed her expertise many times during the escrow process and avoided a few potential delays.
4. Efficiency – This is what I felt the most throughout the overall selling process. Karen is very fast in terms of preparing all required documents. She coordinated with the buyer’s agent and moved everything much faster than my past listing experience. My first meeting with Karen was on April 7th and the property was closed on May 18th. Karen managed a couple of unseen situations on the buyer side and close the deal very quickly giving the situation. I’m sure there were many communications with buyer’s agent and the escrow team behind the scene.
5. Go the Extra Mile – Towards the end of the sales, my tenants decided to move out, which could be a dealbreaker according the contract. Karen reacted right away and handled the plan change. She negotiated with the buyer’s agent and jumped the huddles quickly. In addition, she went the extra mile and helped my tenants with many things that exceeds her responsibilities, e.g. refer rental agents to my tenants, look for rental properties for my tenants, etc.
6. Flexibility – Karen is flexible in terms of in-person meetings. She is very accommodating to my schedule and location.

She helped us find the right house for our family twice !!! The first house we wanted more then ever she made sure we got to the right number to win the bid and made sure she went over and beyond to win us the house but always made sure that we loved the house first and it was the perfect fit, With no fault of our own or Karen our agent we fell out of escrow and it was for the best because Karen was on it found us a bunch of new listings and found us a better house so much better we forgot about the other one. As soon as we seen it we knew this was home she worked her magic with selling agents she has amazing negotiating skills and won’t take no for an answer and once again did it won the bid and our dream house is ours!! Karen is awesome!! We first started out with a different agent from another company he was a nightmare and horrible and didn’t listen to what we wanted had to find our own listings we were done so fired him and found a house we wanted to look at. Karen was the selling agent she was nice enough to call us and tell listing had a pending offer and if we were interested in looking for similar listings keep her in mind,Karen is not our agent yet and was listing agent for a property we had called to inquire about, she asked more questions and was more helpful then our agent at the time ! A week later we fired our agent for a lack of help and first person came to mind was that agent that followed up with us and Was interested in helping us find what we needed . It was a no brainer me and my wife called Karen back hired her as our agent and never looked back she is so helpful knows exactly what we’re looking for and does all the hard work!!
